Advice for the pregnant?
Well, I've read that some of you have kids on this board. I think I might be pregnant. Got 2 lines on the test stick yesterday. Any pointers? This will be my first, so I'm nervous!
Well, at least I'll probably have bragging rights to "youngest kid to hold a 7135"!

Two lines are hard to prove wrong. CONGRATS MaritzaSL!!!!!!!!
I have a 2 1/2 year old and a (almost) 5 year old. Children are so wonderful! I am very happy for you!
Don't be nervous, it's amazing how natural it all becomes... even the first time. You'll do GREAT!

Congrats!
I have a daugher who is 3 1/2 and a son who is nearly 2. They are a lot of fun. Just remember that there is no "right" way to raise a child, you learn how to do it as you go.

Sounds to me like a "blessed event" is definitely in your future! Hopefully you will have a 7135 before your first-born
I have two grown kids (33 and 30) and a 13 year old. Take it from me. The easiest part of raising kids is the part up until they become teenagers. It's all downhill from there (that is until you have grand kids!) :p
Congratulations Maritza!

Congrats!
I may have you beat in the youngest to use a 7135 category. My wife is just a bit ahead of you by 3 months.
However, by the time Verizon releases it, our little ones may be asking if he/she can hold it!
Good Luck!

Are you kidding, they will be driving you to the Verizon store to pick one up by the time Verizon releases it.

Rats! I'll have to settle for second.... or maybe Cutest! (Just teasing you, deweyduo! )
Have had some mild queasiness, but nothing too bad yet. I hope it stays like this! How's your wife doing, deweyduo?
Thanks to everyone who replied. Guess I needed some reassurance!

The wife
We could not have been more lucky! No queasiness, no crazy moods (yet) and no cravings! I thought she was just teasing me about being pregnant until heard the heartbeat at the doctors!
May you have the same good fortune!

Congrats!
When my wife and I got married, she wanted 6 and I didn't want any, we compromised and now we have 5. 3-13 years. I'm glad that I didn't miss out by going my way. Spend the time with them when they are young and they will be a blessing for the rest of your years. They teach you more about yourself than you sometimes want to know.
God Bless
Bo

With a 14 y.o. daughter - going on 20, i have to agree dw.
btw maritza - congrats - i was ambivalent about kids - but now wouldn't give up the experience for anything in the world. just wait until they get to the stage when they say "i hate you" when you tell them no (happens around 2-4) - i had such a hard time not laughing out loud and trying to treat the situation seriously - "now did you mean that you hate me, it is such a strong word - or did you mean that you hate what i said?" the looks that evoked were priceless :alieneyes

:lol3 I bet that was funny! I'll look forward to discussing philosphy and semantics with my toddler.
Glad to hear I'm not the only ambivalent one. It took me a while to commit to the idea. (Stayed on the pill 'til I was sure.) I love to travel, so this puts a damper on that. My uncle and aunt had invited my husband and I to stay in a villa with them in Tuscany (-somewhere in northern Italy, I think?) later this year. Now I'm going to have to pass on that! Just taking it one day at a time... If it's everything everyone says it is, then I'm sure it will all be worth it.
