If they can make a glow in the dark Silkyboard, then we are in business!

No doubt! I use Silkyboard and I wouldn't be without it, but it's hard to look up those bars and strip clubs at night with silkyboard....

Um, the 7135 is Color, why would this make any sense. Now it may make sense for the 6035, but come one month and the 6035 is old news

Ummm... Because you STILL can't see the graffiti area in the dark... it doesn't matter if you screen is color or B&W. Since the screen is the same size, the graffiti area must be about the same size and it'll still be nice to see where to write in the dark...

Azurefog is correct, the graffiti area on many palms is not color-and is definatly not lit even if the screen is color. The exceptions being some Sony Clie's and the i300

Well as far as the 7135 is concerned, The graffiti area has a Backlight!! So although a glow in the dark silkyboard would be nice, it wont be needed for regular graffiti use.

A Backlight!?!?!? Yeah!!!! :jump
One of the Cell Gods heard my unformed, unspoken plea before I even knew I needed it!
Well, I guess that means the next thing we need is a semi-transparent silkyboard to fit on the graffiti area on the 7135... Hmmm.... Maybe a rice paper silkyboard?

light up stylus

This probably won't help with the 7135 (since the stylus is shorter), but the Saitek light up stylus fits perfectly in the 6035 and solves the "can't see the graffiti area" problem. Better yet, it's perfectly compatible for you silkyboard users.

azurefrog,
I have heard rumors that backlit graffiti areas actually do light up most of a SilkyBoard, but I haven't been able to test it myself.

Old news my Fin. Mines still going strong and keeping me just ask organized as the days are long.

I opted to stay with the 6035 because I need the larger screen and color is something real important to me at the moment.

Plus I enjoy long batt. time too.

Hey Random, i've past these things up in the store several times thinking it wouldn't go all the way down like the stylst that comes with the 6035.

So it actually does fit all the way in?

Which model did you get?

LB, the screen size of the 7135 is the same as on the 6035, just moved graffiti area. And I think you mean to say, "and color isn't something real important to me at the moment". Either that or I am very confused.

You see when what happens when i've been out of the water for too long. I can't even type straight. Must have been a rough night.

Your right Marki. Color (is not) important to me, but when I had one of those things in my hand (Comdex 2002) I could swear it was smaller (less the grafitti area as you say).

Thanks for the followup, you've officially been given a "Get out of the Water Free" card

Color wasnt that important to me at first, then I saw how much more readable the screen was, and I could never go back.
