I'm signing off....
Tomorrow morning at 5am I will be hitting the road with my g/f to go to Arkansas to stay with her parents for a week. This will be my last chance to post until we get there.... and who knows how often I will get to visit from there. We have at least a 17+ hour drive ahead of us... please feel free to send your well wishes to this thread... I know it would help me get us there!
Once we get there it should be pretty much business as usual... hopefully I will be able to participate as much as I like to! (but probably not). But I won't let myself be denied of hearing the latest news about the 7135!
Talk to you soon!!! (I hope!) : : :

That's how I'd like to travel, with GPS info displayed on a laptop. Would prefer heads up display, but it's too early for that.

yeah a place called laptopworld.com (in cincinati) has just such an item. costs 200 bucks. its self adjustable and wont get the in passengers way.
you can view thier site by visiting www.laptopworld.com . they may not have the item on the site, but email the webmaster (who is the owner of the store i believe) and he will give you info on it.. i saw it in their store just before i moved and it looked pretty good... :

Yo! The g/f is driving, so now I can read the latest posts! I'm thinking about how nice it would be if I had the 7135 now! We probably will be on the road til midnight, but i'll be checking in here the whole way! (until dark anyway... D@mn busted backlight). I hope you are all having fun today, but you need to post on some threads so I have something new to read! :

Sorry Robert, didn't you here? The 7135 was released today, so everyone is in line waiting to buy it. Too bad you are on a road trip.

And for the record, since sarcasm doesn't come off well in text, no the 7135 was not released today.
But at least that would explain why the boards are slow today. Hurry up Kyo, we need our 7135!

The mark of a true smartphone geek is someone who, while spending the entire day travelling, manages to post more messages to this forum than any of the rest of us.
Well done!
