Kyocera Enthusiasts Meet in the Washington, D.C. area

We are organizing a get together of Kyocera Smartphone enthusiasts who live in the Washington, D.C. area. This get together is scheduled for Saturday, July 27th at noon at Chevy's on Quince Orchard Rd. in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

If you own a Kyocera Smartphone, or simply want to participate in a discussion about the exciting new smartphone Kyocera is about to release, please plan on attending this get together.

I look forward to seeing many of you at this get together!

Dave

I'd like to participate. Too bad I don't live in DC anymore. I'm sure you guys will post any info about the 7135 that comes out of the meeting.

LOL!!

Maybe someday we can set up a Kyocera video conference so that all of us geeks from around the country can participate.

That's actually not a bad idea. Think kyo would have a cow if we ordered some smartphone t-shirts with "kyo-geek" or something on them?

I've been going round-and-round all day long trying to convince sales and support at Kyocera-wireless that they need to send a representative to our upcoming get together, armed with a few pre-release models of this smartphone for us to play with and salivate over. Unfortunately I haven't gotten very far. I'm going to keep trying but it appears as though I just don't have very much clout at corporate headquarters...

My wife would never believe me that I was flying to DC for a meeting to talk to some guys about a new "cellphone," as she calls the 6035. Plus, I'd have to tell her that I'm buying the $500 7135, just a year after buying the $500 6035. I haven't figured out how I'm going to do that yet, she unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your perspective) is not infected with the disease like we are, and wouldn't appreciate why I'm drooling over the 7135. Maybe you could send me the minutes of the meeting: ("I hereby call to order this meeting of the Metro Area Kyocera Smartphone Enthusiasts Club...."

Your wife should get together with my wife. I'm sure they could tell many fascinating stories about their respective husband's smartphone addictions!

We'll be happy to take folks from Dallas/Ft. Worth

Put on your cowboy boots and hat, jump on your steed and ride on up. We'll show you a good 'ol time here in the Nation's capital!
