Nice rig Mark. Did you consider a 10,000 RPM Raptor for your OS? Why did you go with Vista over XP?

nice but get rid of the OEM cooling fan on your cpu asap and get an aftermarket one. I have the antec 1200 case and use the TRU120ex heatsink. Not sure if that fits in the 900 though.

I hope to be moving to an SSD hard drive soon.

Vista? I wanted to keep all my os's the same for my wife and daughters PC. Less maintenance work......

For now my temps never go higher than 56c and I have it over clocked.
I will however look at a coolMaster V8 if only for the looks of it.

56 is high actually with 60 being the big warning mark... your Processor will live much longer if it stays in the 30s and 40s on full load and perform much better.

My Q6600 sits around 32 and on full load hits about 45 when I'm stress testing it.

I may have not applied the CPU HSF compound efficiently also.
