Definition
A Palm device is a handheld computer that is part of the family of products called Personal Digital Assistants (or PDAs). A Palm
PDAPhone runs a specific version of the Palm operating system. There are Palm devices available that do not have an integrated mobile phone, and those that do. We will only discuss those with an integrated mobile phone at
PDAPhoneHome. Palm devices may run thousands of compatible applications available from many vendors. Most Palm applications are forward compatible, but there are some exceptions.
