6700 or 8525 :)

The difference being $150 savings on the 6700. With the 8525 I wouldn't be able to use 3g since they have none in VA as of yet (store guy says they plan to by summer, but you know how those guys can talk), but I would mainly use the wifi for data access (might be bale to go w/o a dataplan, but alltel would force the dataplan I think on the 6700). I like the faster speed and responsiveness on the 8525, and the store demo seemed to have more software than the 6700 (I don't remember the office apps on the 6700). The scroll wheel was nice, but I don't see it as being quite as great as some people make it sound . There seems to be more "aftermarket" for the 6700 which is understandable with the 2? year jump, but I don't think I'd jump right into major tweaking yet on my first pda phone. I guess I'm just tryin to justify the almost double price to get the new kid on the block.

They are basically identical devices, with some minor exceptions and the big exception being the carriers. If you go with Cingular 3G, much depends on where you will use it, since they haven't fully rolled out 3G in VA except in the D.C. metro area. I live in SE VA and we don't have it yet but should by the end of summer.
