For my Bday in december my parents are getting me a contract phone. However I dont make that many calls/texts but I use the internet allot so I was wondering what is the best phone and contract for internet usage for under £30/month.

I would prefer one which allows for tethering to my computer to use it as a modem.

I was thinking of an iPhone 3G/3Gs, I already have an ipod touch so I have apps for it and know how to use it but I am also open to phones which allow me to use the wifi as a wireless access point to use my touch for the internet.

I also like a phone with decent features e.g. apps/media, etc.

1. I currently use a nokia mobile (can't recall the model), I also use my dad's 02 stellar running mobile 6.1 occasionally.

2. I would prefer either of the following UK carriers: T-mobile, 02, Orange, Vodafone, 3. The contract must be less the £30/month

3. I live and stay mostly in the UK

4. I have only used iPhone OS on an ipod touch and WM6.1, which I hate for the internet

5. I will load games, music, etc. on to it and if possible hack it if it gives me more stuff like with the iPhone.
