im without a phone (well barely using an old 8525 that wont charge anymore) until i replace my tilt (atnt)

im accustomed to the full key board , touch screen flipstyle, as well as windows mobile...but i would like to use other applications(face book games scrabble poker etc)

use text ,email (yahoo, microsoft for work,web browsing, and would like to be able to do some music and photo editing (not mandatory)

. i can go a day with one battery and dont mind recharging it but would love a 2 day or longer life... i take trains and travel often (but not looking for pricey roaming international acess.. live in new york city and tied to atnt.
would like any feed back you have on any touch screen pdas budget under 600 or free! also if you can tell me the diffence of web browsers other than the windows mobile 6.0 and your experience with the other technologies..

CARRIER NOTE - Many people ask us to recommend a carrier. It is nearly impossible for someone on a forum to give a credible recommendation for a carrier to you. The reason is that coverage varies widely from one mile to the next. It is best to talk with your friends about what carrier they have, and what kind of coverage and satisfaction they have with it. Some things to consider when speaking with them are what carrier they use, where exactly it DOESN'T work well, where it doesn't work at all (dead spots), how many bars they get in places that would be heavily used by you, what kind of customer service they receive, where they bought their phone. Given this information, you can make an informed decision where YOU will get the best coverage. Given your preference for Windows Mobile and a full keyboard, plus the fact that you're on AT&T, I'd probably go with the Fuze at the moment. The Touch Pro 2 is the follow-on to that device and there's strong rumors that it's "coming soon" and might also be a good replacement if you don't mind waiting until AT&T actually releases the bloody thing. Either can handle anything you like, either out of the box (with Touch Flo 3D) or with add-on apps.

Note that regardless of the choice you make, I'd strongly recommend buying a spare battery you can keep with you (if available - can't do that for the iPhone). You state that you're looking for 24 hours of battery life, but any of these platforms is likely to fall short of that target with reasonably heavy use. On my Fuze, I can get about 12-16 hours out of it with heavy use (calls, e-mail, playing music on the plane). Sadly, the increases in Processor speed and heavier usage have outstripped the capacity of the batteries.
