this is a phone site of converged devices. there are phone/pda devices on the major mobile phone carriers that do just what you are looking to do. i can recommend those types but for a PDA only solution i could not offer any solutions as i dont use JUST a PDA... perhaps someone may post here for a PDA ONLY solution....

HP has a range of PDA-only devices that are highly rated.

Why are you looking for one without the phone? I suppose that's the critical question to ask.

For the office just for emails, WI-FI. There is a company phone.

For the price difference, I'd ask the company if they'd allow you to buy a smartphone and move to an appropriate plan. Once the incentives for the phone kick in, there's so little cost difference, I don't see an advantage to having only the PDA.

We would not have to pay for a monthly plan. All we need is a device that would allow us to us Wi-Fi, and now Spectralink system or sip.
