I used a
Kyocera 7135 but have been a Windows Mobile user ever since, Samsung i730 followed by i760 (current user)
Size is not an issue for me, I continue to be amazed at how small the largest of these devices are.
I am addicted to a hard qwerty keyboard, touch screen, corporate email from a microsoft exchange server. I am interested in the largest possible screen size.
I tried an i770, was disappointed in the screen display.
I have been with Verizon for 23 years, (GTE Mobilnet before they were bought) but am not under contract.
The Nokia N97 looks appealing, 3.5 inch screen, hard keyboard, but I am apprehensive about getting used to a new operating system. Can anyone point me in the direction of resources regarding
Symbian, and in particular comparisons of
Palm vs
Symbian vs Microsoft Mobile? I see that eWallet does not have a version for
Symbian, and I use that program several times a day. Any password storage apps for
Symbian?
Palm Pre has a slightly smaller screen, 3.1 inch-doesn't sound like much, but I think there is probably a substantial increase in real estate between 3.1 and 3.5 inch, depending on the aspect ratio. I like to use my device to view web pages at times, and I think screen size impacts that experience a lot.
Sony Experia X! also has a hard keyboard, and it is Windows Mobile, but screen is only 3 inch and keyboard is not lit.
Haven't heard any talk of new
iPhone having a hard keyboard.
I guess at this point in time my main questions revolve around the differences between the operating systems. Any resources?
Thanks.
