What is the best Verizon compatible phone comparable to iPhone?

I'm considering upgrading my current Pocket PC and getting something a little more fun like an iPhone. Problem is I have Verizon and want to stay with them. If any of you current iPhone owners/users had to switch to Verizon, what phone would you pick?

Personally, I am looking for something with a very nice screen, plays movies and media very well, versatile with many apps, has an accelerometer, and must be very easy to travel with. Another plus would be tethering without a monthly charge from Verizon.

Thanks for the tips!

What you ask does not compute. I couldn't imagine any other phone than the iPhone, have to chuckle now when I see co-workers with their i760. I do admit in my area that there have been times I wish I had Verizon coverage, but it's getting better. Shouldn't be an issue in your area.

crickets chirping....................................I'm an ex-i760 owner, now iPhone owner. Nothing VZW currently has is comparable to the iPhone IMO.

Thanks for the opinions. I went with the Storm. After careful consideration I chose the Storm because it offered the most options. I would have liked to have gotten an iPhone, but I am a die hard Verizon lover and a strong supporter of the superior CDMA technology (Qualcom rocks!) Admittedly on eof the reasons I chose the Storm was it is GSM compatible. As I tend to travel internationally GSM access will come in handy. Thanks again for the help.

There's no one phone that does it all. I use my XV6800 still but I love the iPhone. Where one fails me the other succeeds.

I reboot the XV6800 at least once a day and the iPhone once a week as they both are bad memory managers and that keeps things pretty smooth.
