Hi Everyone,

Newbie here, and a Cricket customer. I would like to get a new phone that I can use with my Cricket account. The Cricket people say they can flash any Sprint, Verizon or All-Tel phone, so I’d like to get a better phone than they offer, and I guess I’m locked into a CDMA compatible phone. I’d like to get an unlocked Windows Mobile Pro 6.1 device with a slide out keyboard for business purposes, and one that I can tether to my notebook computer so I can surf the net on my notebook.

The HTC Touch Pro 2 seems really nice, but I can’t really wait for it to show up in the US. I also see that it’s supposed to be priced around $1,000, which is probably more than I want to pay.

The TyTN II seems nice, but it looks like it’s older technology.

So, I’m looking at the HTC Touch Pro, and here are my questions:

Should I be worried about having Cricket flash an unlocked phone?
The Sprint and Verizon versions seem identical, but is either better performance-wise?
I kind of like the Verizon version better. Seems squarer. Anything to worry about?
Where is the best place to buy one online?
What is the HTC Raphael?
Should I wait for a Touch Pro 2?

Any assistance would be much appreciated.
