Currently have a RAZR (At&T) family plan with my wife and son. We don't have anything for data, internet on the plan. I am ready to replace the RAZR and would like a full-featured PDA phone. I think I like the HTC TouchPro although it's keyboard seems less friendly than other side sliders I have looked at. I don't think I would be happy without the keyboard (touchscreen keyboard I suspect would be more frustrating). I don't currently use my phone for email or web browsing. I can see using it for GPS and probably for web browsing as well but I don't know what AT&T would make me get for data.
I am also wondering the advantages of an unlocked phone outside the AT&T contract. Can anyone give me some suggestions about these questions?

Can someone suggest a phone that might be better?

I find the Fuze's keyboard to be just fine. I would have preferred the top row to be numbers instead of symbols, but it works nicely with good action. I find it better than the keyboard on the older Tilt/TyTN II platform.

But the advantage with AT&T is that just about any GSM phone will work on their network. You could shop for a completely unlocked version at Expansys or another site and find the one you really like (like the non-AT&T Touch Pro).
