xv6900 vzw questions; vs blackberry storm, vs iphone?

I am considering the xv6900.. (as well as blackberry storm or iPhone even).. or maybe waiting for mobile 7, if it will have more iPhone like gesture commands possible..

I have an i730 which crashes at least once a day.. I currently use the qnc #7772 network to access the internet, which is ok for most things, but with most of the alternative phone options, i'd lose this ability and have to pay more, i do exchange syncing, gmail imap, gps via pocket copilot and remote desktop...

My alternative ideas were these:

Go with an iPhone and switch to ATT(shuddering at the idea of being on ATT).. I like the iPhone interface, though find the onscreen keyboard hard to use (tried a friends), it now has exchange sync and even remote desktop ability, as well as built in GPS... This would be effectively about a $71 per month increase in fees to go ATT/iPhone and high speed net;

My other idea was to wait for the Blackberry Storm and stick with verizon.. but i'm not clear on whether there will be a way to do remote desktop sessions, i'm assuming it will have exchange sync though.. I'd be forced into a 2 year contract again if i did this, as well as about $45 more per month to use the high speed net...

Or the VX6900..
My questions regarding this unit are..

Can it do #7772 qnc internet? Does it have built in GPS? (I have pocket copilot for windows mobile, so if not, i guess its not a huge loss).. I'm assuming it shoudl run circles round the i730.. but how often does it crash? (my friend claims his iPhone has never crashed, and also, on the iPhone when you open an app, it stores it as a file, then when you switch apps and come back to it, its ready to roll but not using memory, or so the theory goes).

Thanks
