I have an HTC Apache, it's been working fine so far (except for F@$K!@G windows.) Every day I went to school I would leave my phone on but still mute it; that was when I had a RAZR. Now if I mute my phone it will make a stupid noise, 3 or 4 beeps raising in pitch, then 3 or 4 more lowering in pitch, different times between the sets of beeps. So I was thinking it was the wifi connecting to the school's router, so I turned wireless totally off and muted to phone. Yet the b%&t!@d still beeps. This shows how stupid windows is. But getting to the point, do any of you know how I can stop it from beeping in class? or at least do ya'll know why it plays that tune periodically? Also how do I completely turn the Apache off, without taking out the battery? Help is appreciated.
