Touch Pro or G1?

I really like the touch pro from the stuff i've seen on it, but the G1 looks pretty sick and they have a real release date. My 6700 is on its last legs. The keyboard wont go in all the way and i have to put a ton of force on the call button to make it work. Saw dust comes out of the screen when i shake it too. I can wait a few months max.

I really like most of the google stuff and think android might be able to kick WM6's ass. But i have never used WM6, only WM5. The touch pro looks like a cooler phone, but does not have much if anything over the G1.

Code:
G1                                     Touch Pro
7201 528mhz chip                         same
android                                       WM6
256mb rom, 192mb ram                  512mb rom, 256mb ram
3.2" TFT 320x480 HVGA 2.8" VGA (is vga better than hvga?)
3.2mp camera fixed focus 3.2mp camera auto focus, flash, light and vga cmos camera
no fm radio                                  fm radio

HVGA is half VGA.

VGA = 640 x 480 = 307,200
HVGA = 320 x 480 = 153,600

Incidentally, QVGA is quarter VGA.

No video with G1 camera.

I think the hardware on the Touch Pro is a step up from the G1. Although the G1 is no slouch.

TMobile coverage is a big factor for me. It is not as good as the big 3 - AT&T, Sprint and Verizon in my area.

The G1 does not yet have a big portfolio of applications. WM is a known quantity with tons of apps for a wide variety of uses. Early adopters of the Google phone are probably going to run into some frustration finding the applications to tweak the phone to their liking. Personally, I would wait for the number of applications for Android based phones to grow before jumping on board. Hopefully we will see some Android phones from the big 3 or maybe some unlocked phones.
