Buy the xv6800 or no?

I have ATT and my contract ends in two weeks. I am very interested in the "Verizon Wireless XV6800" I have been looking online for about a week now, and I see a bunch of people say "Yes it's the greatest thing in the world get it" and a bunch of people saying "NO don't waste your time, worst thing ever made in history"

Can I get some help from people who already have the phone. Can you say how long you've had it for, your biggest noticeable pros and biggest noticeable cons on it...

as many as possible would be great!

Also, how is Internet Explorer on the xv6800? Good? Do you see the whole page as if you were on a computer, or is it bits and pieces like other phones?

Thanks guys!

Personnally, I am with Verizon because of the coverage in my area. If not for that, I would look into Sprint for the cheaper SERO plan, or ATT. With ATT I could get the Tilt which is a step up rom the 6800 from everything I have read.
So yes, if you are going with Verizon, get the 6800.

Windows Mobile IE can display a page like the desktop, BUT, the small screen only shows a portion of it and you need to scroll around a lot. Like looking at a computer screen through a straw. Or you can set it to reformat into a single column, which usually helps. Sadly, a limtation of the small screen with few cures.

Yes, the 6800 is great.....Don't know how it compares to the Tilt but I hear the coverage for ATT is lacking.

If you find the mobile versions of webpages, you'll love the Windows Mobile IE. There are several mobile links on Small Sites

Try it! You'll Like It!
