Here is a positive review of the new Audivox Smartphone. I thought it very interesting that he gave it a high ranking amoung all of the phones available, not just smartphones.
That's an interesting article, for a non-PPC PDA phone user, like me. In particular, I didn't know about the following, until I read it in the article.

Windows based smartphones like the ppc 6601 can't read attachments? Is this correct? but The Treo 600/650 can?
the 6601 can, the i600 can't- the ones running full PPC phone edition versus the ones running smartphone version. I've opened attachments on my 6601 already
