Brother MPrint Brings Portable Printing to a New Level

One of the difficulties in relying on a pdaPhone as your primary business tool is the problem of printing a hard copy of your work. There are ways to print via IrDA to desktop printers, but a desktop printer is not always available, and many folks don't have the necessary drivers installed to handle the job.

Brother now has a good solution for this problem in the MPrint micro printer. This printer brings a new level of portability to Palm and Pocket PC based pdaPhones. Here are some of the features of the Brother Mprint:
  • Supports Palm and Pocket PC (and Desktop Windows)
  • IrDA or Bluetooth (and USB for Desktop Windows)
  • Weighs less than 0.66 lbs
  • Less than 0.7 inches THIN
  • High Quality Prints - 300 DPI Resolution
  • Printing Speed – up to 4 PPM
  • No Moving Print Head
  • Whisper silent printing
  • Built in Lithium Battery
  • Print up to 100 pages with full charge
It has a lot of flexibility in print media as well, an area that portable printers are often weak in.
  • Utilizes ThermaPlus M paper Tailored Specifically for Mobile Applications.
  • Feels like plain paper, Reduces print fading
  • Easy to write on, Able to use highlighter
  • Unique Carbon Copy Paper, Original and copy printed simultaneously
  • Capture client signature
  • 3 Size Adhesive Labels Available
  • Internal Paper Cassette
  • Quick and easy changes
We will try to get one of these to review in the near furture. Find out more about the Mprint at

Sounded good till I saw.....

"Utilizes ThermaPlus M paper Tailored Specifically for Mobile Applications.'

I have tried thermal printers before.

They don't like to be inside a hot car, turns black or brown.

Has any one tried the "ThermalPluse M paper"?

What did you think about it?

Is the paper waterproof?
