hello my name is Dobbs and my question is will i be charged for using apps like google maps i have wi-fi just at home and unlimited texting im just worried about using apps and getting charged and get a crazy bill thanks for reading . also could i use google maps without having a wifi connection and it not using data to charge me i dk much about apps so please fill me in thanks again.

If you use Google Maps and you aren't connected to WiFi, then either the app will fail (no data available) or you'll incur charges for downloading the map data. If you use WiFi, no charges would show up, but Google Maps doesn't download all of the maps needed at once, so if you're using it as you're moving around, you'd need a constant WiFi connection.

one other thing you should be aware of - unless you tell Verizon to block your internet service, your phone may dial out if you fire up google maps and you'll be charged the casual browsing rate of a few cents / KB or something.
