Is there a way to "fool" iTunes into thinking that the Touch Pro is a "iPod" so that I can sync all of my music that I have bought from them over the years. I know I can burn them all off to a CD/DVD then rip them back in mp3 format but that's just a pain in the yank. Besides they have a great library so if there is a way I would LOVE to know it.
Cute.......I mean I actually did like the redirect. But what I had in mind was more of a syncing of Itunes purchased protected digital content. I can sync mp3's with a variety of progs...including Window Media. I have googled before in vain for a prog that will let me do this. I have a substantial library that I have purchased from itunes over the years (hell....some of my best stuff) and it is all Apple protected stuff that will only sync with an Ipod. There has got to be a prog and I just haven't found it yet. Still searching and yes googling but the only progs I come up with are ones that sync mp3's but do nothing for apple protected stuff. I hate to have to delete and repurchase all of my media in mp3 format and burning to a cd and ripping it back in is just a pain because you have to go through and rename every file you are ripping back.
