Getting iPhone but want to keep Sprint

Hey folks...

I have enough of trying to get my Mogul to act like an iPhone and am going to get an iPhone today. We went to the Apple store last night and there were about 30 people in line for them. My wife talked to someone at the store and said the line was a lot shorter during the day while people were at work, so she is going to go and pick on up for me today.

Here is what I want to do and I am not sure how to do it...

I want to port my current Sprint number to AT&T for the new phone.

Now while I am willing to pay the early termination fee from Sprint (I am on SERO) I would actually like to KEEP Sprint but change my service from the Mogul to a Wireless USB data card.

Do you think this is possible to do? And what's the best way to do this?

I have never had any issues with Sprint, however my needs have me needing an iPhone. I don't want to cancel Sprint I just need to change my service. How do I go about this?

Thanks for any advice!

sprint will port your number over to ATT no problem...

if you dont have a data plan you would have to open up one. once you port your sprint number, you cant keep the data plan. so just port over the number, then have sprint sign you up under a data plan. talk to retentions and ask them you need to go to ATT for business issues but want to get data thru sprint...they can waive any fees and just sign you up...
