Hack for sound

I've looked around on this forum and on the wiki and haven't seen anything about this, but I hope I didn't miss it somewhere. I'm looking for a way to turn off the sound that the phone makes whenever it loses and/or regains a signal. When driving in a rural area, I've found it annoying to have that sound constantly going on indicating that I keep losing and then regaining a signal. Obviously I can put the phone into it's "Meeting" mode to turn all the sound off (which is what I've been doing), but I'd like to find a way to keep all the other sounds (including the ringer) on and just get the phone to not assign a sound when it loses a signal. Anybody found a way to do that or am I the only one that's bothered by that noise? [By the way, my phone also makes that same sound when I have an incoming call, just a second or two before the ringer actually kicks in.] Thanks in advance.

Go to settings and choose option 1 for Call Options
Uncheck "ERI Alert"
This should stop the phone from making any sounds when signal is lost or regained.

Thank you! Hopefully that'll do it. Now I see that re: ERI Alert in the phone's manual, but when I read it, I don't think I realized what it was referring to. Thanks again.
