Active sync problem

All of a sudden my phone will no longer sync with my PC. I get an "Active sync encountered a problem with the desktop" error message.

I have un-installed and re-installed Windows Mobile Device Center, ended and recreated the partnership and even tried to sync with the VISTA firewall off. Nothing is working.

It has been syncing for about month and now just stopped. It still connects, it won't sync.

Any ideas?

Problem solved

To solve this problem, I had to uninstall and reinstall Office Outlook, which apparently was running a script error that prevented synchronization.
