dry out a wet PN-820?

I'm looking for tips for removal of the case covers on the PN-820? Unfortunately my unit sat thru a one inch rain storm last night. I'm assuming a complete dry is recommended before attempting to turn it on? How much dry time is needed to evaporate the internal moisture? Anyone else give their PN-820 a dunk yet and successfully restore it to use? Anyone used a lyophilizer? Thanks for helping get me out of this predicament!

Ironic -- that was me that had the dunked phone in the other thread... I haven't checked in here in a while, and here this topic is at the top.

So I probably should add this on to that thread, too: The phone never did come back for me. It was rather maddening, in that everything else worked, it saw the network but just wouldn't send or receive a call. I tried several Verizon tech folks, who could offer nothing. Ended up buying another one. And got the insurance this time!

Sorry byrd. I hope you have a better outcome.
