PN-820 WiFi or not?

This link lists it as WiFi, but Verizon's website doesn't list it as WiFi. Niether does PhoneScoop.

If not are there any Wifi - flip style - smartphones that will work with Verizon? I want a WiFi capable phone that will connect to a standard WiFi Hotspot, so I use the web without using my minutes.

The Pantech PN-820 is not WiFi capable. At this time, I do not think VZW offers any WiFi capable flip phones but I could be wrong. There are other SmartPhones that are WiFi capable, but beware, they are usually battery hogs! Trust me, i learned that the hard way... and I'm much happier with the 820 + a good data plan.

Thanks for the reply, I figured it was too good to be true.

How about the web browser in Windows Mobile? Is it better than the standard WAP browser like I've got on my LG 8300 or is it the same.

I think the browser is better than in my i-730 but that is because it is the smartphone version.

Wi-fi really wouldn't do much for you anyway, so you are not missing much.
