Total Customization

Alright, so the standard look of the phone is quite boring. What are all the customizations that can be done? We all know the ringtone and background can be changed... What else and how can it be changed? Front display? Colors of font? Different font type? Change the alarm sound? Can we just put any type of phone customization stuff in this thread to make it centralized? Thanks. Let's hammer...

My suggestion would be you start here:
Main Page - Verizon Wireless PN-820 Wiki

For a place to start looking for Main Page skins, Juni's site is good:
Juni's PocketPC Skins and Themes

However not all applications that every skin out there offers will work with the PN-820. I'd suggest you start seaching these and all the other Windows Mobile 5 (WM5) sites out there for various skins, ask what works, etc. I myself am HTML/XML literate, so I actually made my own rather advanced skin with a little effort and time. Well worth it...

If you have specific questions, ask away. WM5 is pretty darn powerful and you can change just about anything. Sadly, however, nobody has taken on the challenge of cracking the inner workings of the OUTER screen display.. its not easy to change, its hard coded... probably because this is one of the FEW flip phones for WM5 so it had to be adapted for the phone, as it isnt really a part of the WM5 layout..

Great ideas Shaka I personally use Facade. I love it, along with the black facade skin (I think it's on the wiki under the Facade skins page). I am not html/xml literate, so I leave it to the skin makers

I have scoured the web and can't find an answer to this question - so sorry if it is obvious:

Is there a free way to have the home screen display all of my day's (calendar's) events instead of just the next one?
