Known WORKING Registry Hacks

List/Grid Start Menu Option...
works easier than scrolling the grid because it gives you numbered choices...
Navigate to:
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shell\StartMenu
• Change the GridView value to 0 if you want list view.
• Change it to 1 if you want grid view.

Increase System Performance...
1.) Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\GDI\GLYPHCACHE\
Changed limit from 16384 to 32768
2.) Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\FATFS
Changed - CacheSize to 4096

Remove Sent Message Popup With SMS...
1. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Inbox
2. Next, click on Inbox (make sure the Inbox is highlighted) and select Edit, New Key
3. Name the New Key as "Settings"
4. Click on "Settings" (make sure the Settings is highlighted) and select Edit, New String Value
5. On "Value name:", key in SMSNoSentMsg and in "Value data", key in 1
6. Soft reset your device and test it with one SMS, and you will notice that the SMS Sent bubble is being disabled

Change your ActiveSync user name from defaut...
1. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Ident\
2. Make sure you are in Ident and select "Values"
3. After selection you should see Desc, Name, OrigName and Username... Change "Name" to desired and save.

I take no credit for these as they are known widely across the world of phone forums... I just want to share what works!
