External Display

I'm so excited to be the first to post in the new Pantech 820 forum!! First item of business: figuring out how to hack the external display. I've looked through the files on the device (with both file manager and a registry editor) and cannot locate where the stock external display pictures are stored, and there are no folders in the locations where other smartphones with external displays have theirs. So are these photos built into rom and not viewable? Do we need to hack .dlls in order to replace the horrible stock photos?

Any and all ideas welcome.

David

If you are brave, you can try this hack. Go to:

HKEY_Current_User/ControlPantel/Backlight/

Add the following: KeylightTimeout and set the value to 15

As always with registry hacks, proceed with caution and don't blame the messenger if something goes wrong.
