Got the wifes new phone in...

I have several questions and really this forum is not as used up and full of the answers as the 6700 one...so having a hard time finding them...if I do ask one and its been answered...just point and i will read...i may have just not searched the right term...sry


first...

I plugged this baby into my front usb port and it keeps beeping at me..it syncd up and all but its now black and just kept beeping whenever the syncing was going on...

Am i misstaken in that when the phone is plugged into the usb it is charging? This sucker doesnt look like its charging....when it was syncing it was beeping and flashing and i would see the little battery charging like thing come up but now its just sitting there black....

Yes it is charging...The external LCD does time-out as it always does. Eventually, when it's fully charged, it comes on for a sec and says "charge completed".

I dont think it was...when i would open it I didnt see the charging symbol...

We let it die down and plugged it into the AC outlet and i see the the charging symbol...that wasnt on there when it was plugged into my usb slot...

Hmmm...thoughts?

When you are talking about the "Charging symbol" are you referring to the symbol that looks like a plug-in.....Mine has that when it is syncing and like I said, eventually I get a "charge complete" alert. I wonder if you don't have the plug all the way in or something. I just checked and it is the same when I plug it into the AC.

it clicks so there is not in or out...it would just beep on off on off light up light off light up light off....dim bright dim bright dim bright....wandering if either my port is surging or if my usb cord is bad....hope the cord as it just came in the mail from verizon...easy return to the local store....i will check it on my laptop tomarrow...

Yeah...I was wondering about your cord too. Hope you get it resolved.

well this morn i plugged it in and did the update and left the clam ope so i could keep an eye on it and it all worked fine...so i dont know what the heck was going on....oh well..thx for the help...

Got a few more questions though....if you will check out my posts...thx!!!!!
