As with many other owneres, I feel let down by the tungsten w on both the mobile and pda front.
For a mobile phone it lacks essential features such as voice dial, voice memo, and blutooth. And it's not like it's impossible for the palmos4.1. Kyocera's 7135 has both voice dial and voice memo.
(btw. I've posted two threads regarding whether it's possible to use kyocera's voice dial software on the tungsten w, please have a read.

)
For a pda, palm seems to have all but abandoned the product

with sloooow driver releases for their sdio modules such as bluetooth (which is now available, but we're still waiting on wifi). It's also minimal in memory and speed.
I've read many many times that bluetooth will not work with headsets because the audio channel does not pass through the expansion slot. Am I just naive or shouldn't routing the audio channels through the expansion slot be fairly straight forward?

(I don't mean to imply you don't need to be one hell of a programmer, but the idea is simple isn't it?)
I guess palm (or should I say palmone) now has the treo, they no longer see the tungsten w community as a priority. It's a pity because I think that if they supported and developed the product with software and drivers the tungsten w is actually a reasonable pda/phone despite it's memory and speed (as long as you don't use it for multimedia - which I don't).
Do you think the comments I've made are fair?
