I took my original Pre back because of the lack of this feature sooo...I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me on whether or not this has been added yet. Or maybe is it available through the app store.

I really wouldn't mind getting one if this is now available.

Not yet... and no idea as to when it will be available. Given how long it took Apple to develop this feature for the iPhone, I wouldn't expect it anytime soon.

And yes, I am very anxious for this feature. The lack of it is the biggest single problem I have with my Pre.

Yeah, it is the single reason that I returned my Pre. I loved everything else but the pain of no voice control was too much. I was kind of hoping there would be something by now so I can get another one.
