Barga!nPDA has posted a dialog they had with someone who works for a partner of Sprint. I can only hope that hey got permission to post the dialog before doing so!
The story talks about the testing that this individual has been involved in with the new Samsung i500. This is the new clamshell Palm based pdaPhone that Samsung announced several months ago. The bottom line is that hte i500 doesn't get a great review from the testing. It is called an "over glorified i330 in a flip". The individual goes on to predict the death of the entire Palm OS in the near future, so it makes me question whether the comments are unbiased. But, he believed that the Kyocera 7135 was a better device and referenced the SD slot as one of his reasons.
Personally, I've believe that there is room for both the Samsung i500 and the Kyocera 7135. There is a significant enough size difference between them to support the two. A user interested in minimal PDA functions may love the i500 because of it's smaller size. There are also a lot of happy users of the i330. What do you think?
