DigiTimes identifies the Chinese-language Commercial Times as their source. The report indicates that shipments of the updated models would begin during the third quarter of 2004.
For those unfamiliar with HTC, they have been the manufacturer of many of the iPAQ PDAs for Compaq, and now HP. They also produce many of the Pocket PC and Smartphone OS based pdaPhones used today and sold under a variety of brands - O2 XDA and XDA II, T-Mobile Pocket PC and MDA, iMate, Siemens SX-56, QTek 1010 and 2020, etc.
