Exclamation Versamail problem

As of a week ago Versamail would no long delete messages from the Yahoo server even when I specified that it ought to (and, of course, Emptied the Trash and selected Both. The "deleted" messages reloaded on the next Get.

Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks,

BB

Many thanks, but I use Yahoo so I am not sure this update will help:

"If you do not use Microsoft EAS or Gmail IMAP for email, you do not need to download this new version of VersaMail. Visit the support page for details."

go ahead and download it, it may help since your version of versamil may not be up to date, and it is always good to keep it up since it can help.
check if the problem still happens after the update

Yahoo uses pop. I may try the d/l but always worried about new s/w betas. The strange thing is that this problem started recently (1-2 weeks ago). I also have a 755p and from the posted comments not sure it will work with that (for reasons that escape me given that the POS is the same).
Also while this is on a Palm blog, there is no upgrade on the Palm site that I could find.

Thanks again,

BB

Wait, are you using a centro? It sunds confusing from your post. The update is only for the centro.

Palm - Support - VersaMail Update for Palm Centro (Sprint) smartphones
(You do not have to download the update overair, you can just enter the address in your browser(firefox, IE7 whatever) and download it then hot sync to your *should be for this update*centro)

I (my group) use(s) both centro and treo. I see that it is only for centro but fail to understand why or why the treo version stopped fully working. Leave it to Sprint.

you could alway switch to sprint email or another email program, like chatter email.
