Switching from I730 (windows/verizon) to Palm Centro (sprint)

I have 1 main question thats gonna bug me untill I get the new phone and active it. Can i import my contacts from the I730 to the Centro?

Windows mobile 5 was able to transfer contacts to the centro...so I'm betting for yes, though you may want to ask sprint or palm.

So how do I go about doing that do I beam them with the IR port? (both phones have IR ports)

you could do that or sync your contacts into your computer then sync those contacts into Palm using hot sync.

i think the best is to synchronize with your computer. Do you currently sync your contacts with an exchange source or outlook? you can select an option in the Palm desktop to sync with outlook instead of Palm desktop for PIM and that will get your calendar and contacts on your phone.

I just IR beamed them from the i730 to the Centro it worked perfectly.
