Get double letters when using Keyboard

We have 2 Centros.

Every time I try to use the “tiny keyboard” it results in double of whatever I hit. Either numbers or alpha, I touch 0 and get 00 or………………. a and get aa.

On the other phone, which my wife uses, it does not happen.

Is there a setting that could change this???

I seem to remember that this did happen many Palms back and there was a fix. Just can not remember what that fix was.

Do you know of any fix???

Found the answer

The double letters for a single stroke was caused by a software conflict as per Palm. Did a hard reset, reloaded the programs that I new were current, and left the really oldies out of the mix.

Every thing works as it should.

Never got to the program that caused the problem......but that is the end of that.

Would have been nice to of had a "undo" or a real "uninstaller", and a "clean up" the space program. For that solution, I have been looking at the Northglide Ulitmate....................it looks like my answer.....going to try it!
