A pocketpc with full advantage of a phone... free sim....no wires for listen calls and possibility of wi-fi and storage cards with compact flash...thin ...no adaptators...
What you can suggest to me?
Now I have a Loox.... I hoped to buy soon the gsm/gprs module.....
I'm not sure what you mean by "free sim", but you can use the XDA now which does all you've asked about except WiFi. I doubt we'll see any pdaPhones with CF slots, just because of the size it takes. They all seem to have SD or nothing. The problem with the XDA is that the SD slot is for memory only. Some of the other phones coming out in the next few months are supposed to have SDIO slots. You might keep an eye on the Samsung i700, except that it is CDMA... so it won't work with a SIM.

Thank you Mike,
I mean sim free the possibility to put inside the phone any sim you want...telecom, wind,omnitel....etc.
What do you mean with CDMA?
You need a contract...?
Thank you.
Francesco
In the US, CDMA is a very popular alternative to GSM/GPRS. Verizon Wireless and Sprint PCS use this technology. There is no SIM with CDMA.. the phones are locked.
With regard to SIM Free, this is often called "unlocked". You can buy unlocked pdaPhones from online retailers like Expansys, or you can sometimes find used phones for sale on eBay that are unlocked. There is an FAQ that explains how to unlock your phone if you need to have this done. Once unlocked, I believe it would satisfy your SIM Free requirement.

I was in Ireland in Dublin last month ...and I ascked in a O2 shop to buy one of it...but they answered me it was not possible to use in Italy...

Thanks
Francesco
P.S. Do you know if some other company like fujitzu.siemens are going to build a phone module ....not a phone compact flash ...for my Loox...It would be great to have a pda-phone and not a phone-pda ....
What do you think about it?
