Well I bought a 1gb minisd card....and the phone will only let me put 480mb of data on it. Any reason why?

I thought I read it only supports 512KB, so your 480 sounds about right after it takes some space for housekeeping of the card.

Do you think it has to do with what ROM version is in the phone?

Blatty - it could be...I have had the latest Cingular ROM as well as a generic ROM and both worked just fine.

I'm now using a Dopod S300 (aka HTC StarTrek, i-mate smartflip...) so the Moto is actually in my office sitting idle... I can check the ROM version tomorrow for you if you like.

Regards - John
