Hello,
I just received a replacement mpx220 from cingular. When i hook up to sync to my computer, the profile switches to CAR, and it will not activate activesync......
I have used the phone i am returning - it connects and active sync works... so its not the cable.

Any suggestions.

I would do a hard reset just to make sure the junk is really cleaned out. If it continues then there could be something wrong with it. Also did they load the firmware update?

Firmware is 1.430...
I have already tried the hard reset..... called cingular no help center today. Phone works fine, except when i plug the usb cable in, the profile switches to CAR.....
Active sync does nothing....

Could you active sync with an IPAQ using blue tooth????
