I've read on e few sites' different specs for the phone (mpx220) where it says its capable of this. There HAS to be some trick that we havent figured out yet to get them to animate. I've messed with it for about a week making .gif files of numerous different sizes, pixel and bit and color depth using photoshop and imageready. I mean for chr!$ts sake my piece of **** samsung e-105 would even play them. I cant understand why if theyre visible using the file viewer that they cant be put on the backgrounds. It has to be capable of it on both the interior and exterior displays, because the startup and splash screens are all animated! WTF!!!!!!! Anyone have any insight into this at all??

One fine morning, I was watching MTV and an advertisement came up about animated background. So I textd them and chose this cool looking dancing frog of some sort.
I got it allright but it did not move...
So I called them up and asked them to credit me back because their animation "SUCKS and DOES NOT WORK".. hehehehehe....
FOUND IT!!!!!! FOUND IT!!!!! Sorry, little excited! I saw on MoDaco a post about a plugin for animated homescreen support.

Dude, trust me, if it was an app i wrote i would gladly share with everyone for free, but it's only like 3 bucks, compare that to 99 cents a shot to dl cheap ringtones and non-moving pictures....I got my phone virtually for free, so I spose i dont mind forkin out a couple bucks here and there for some cool stuff. Dont get me wrong, it's not like I'm not guilty of 'aquiring' other things here and there in the past, I gotta be honest, but I dont wanna risk gettin the boot from the mods here either, I like this forum and it would bum me out

ya that forum is actually good... better actually... seem like they have more handle of things in that forum... i think i will frequent that forum.....
