How do you view Excel Files?

How do you view excel files on the mpx? When I sync to outlook and click on the excel attachment in the email, it appears to download the file to my phone. I say that because the file in the email changes from .xls to .pxl. But I can't look at that pocket excel file at all. I don't even see a way to say the pxl attachment as a file so I can use a viewing software like ClearVue.

Any ideas?

Support for Excel files is hopefully on the way soon! Check out this forum, This program already supports CSV files which is pretty neat, and he says he is working on the excel support.....

If you have a Cingular branded phone, the File Viewer program can view them, but ONLY in the native format (xls), and not in the converted format (pxl).

actually I havent tried that,.........they seem to convert to pxl automatically. How do you stop that? I'll have to check all the options on the activesync. But also, I'm sure many aside from myself are tapping their fingers for the one that allows editing! But I know, want want want, lol. Hell, while were at it, when are we getting Photoshop SP? LMAO!

In Activesync on the PC, go into Tools -> Options -> Conversion Settings, then make sure that Convert Items is unchecked.
