Does the MPx220 not tell you when the battery is charged? I guess when all bars stop moving it is charged? When it is opened things still move around making me think it's still charging but it is done.
I assumed a phone like this would tell you when it is charged. My first charge was 24 hours, second one about 14 hours and no message. Maybe it wasn't charged? I'll let it go longer next time.

There are two good ways to find out if the battery charged.
1) Does it power ON? well, if it powers ON, then you have a charged battery right?
2) There is a battery indicator on both the outside and inside screens. You won't miss it...

Too funny
The question was asked because I was doing my first charges and discharges and didn't want to cut it short and I don't like to overcharge so I pull the plug when the display says "battery charged"

Actually, you do not need to do a charge discharge on a LiIon. That was done more during the NiCad days. Gone are those days....
There is also no more "over-charged" thingy in LiIon based battery. LiIon based batteries are easier to design over-voltage protection circuits so that when the display says "battery charged" the over-voltage/current circuit already detected the charge that it will no longer "charge" the battery....
The term "over-charge" actually really means that you are charging the battery more than the voltage that it requires. So when you "over-charge" the battery, you can explode the battery depending on how much higher the voltage applied. So if the battery only needs 4.0Volts, and you "over-charge" it to 20V, then you can expect fire and explosion to happen.. heheheh..
Anyhoooo, you can attach your mpx220 to the charger as long as you want and it wont bother the battery life nor the mpx220.... really seriously try it..... This time, I am not being funny... Just explaining it.. I'm sure someone else will counter my explanation... Let's hear it... I can be wrong...
On mine I do not see the battery icon saying that it is charged unless the phone is on while charging. If my phone is off while I charge it all I get are the bars no matter how long it is plugged in.

On my phone, when it is done charging, the battery icon shows up.... it shows up that even when I turn off the phone, it's still there..
hahahaha..
It's funny, but it is so true...
I turn off the phone and the screen is still on and the battery ICON still show's up..
I have to literaly remove the BATTERY and put it back...
