MPX200 Wav Ringtone Goes Missing

Hi Everyone,

Apologies if this thread already exists - had a good look but could not find anything - so please can anyone assist:

I want to use a PCM .WAV file as a ringtone on my MPX200. All works fine until I switch the phone off, and on, after which the .WAV file is gone! Is it being deleted? How do I overcome this problem??

Thanks

put it in the Storage/Application Data/Sounds folder... if you put it in a windows folder it gets delete when you power cycle the phone.

I have the same problem, if I put it in the storage/appkication/sounds folder it keeps it there as a .wav or a .mp3 file. It lists it as a ring tone, but when it plays it is just a std sound and not the one I imported. I can play it in the media player and it sounds correct but the phone will not recognize it. Can you help. I have followed the manual and it shows that I am doing it correctly.
