I have recently acquired an MPX, and I love it. I want to keep it, but it is a christmas present for my dad, who has cingular. I took it to an AT&T store and they put in a sim card and told me that it might not be unlocked because it didn't recognize the sim any why it was inserted. Also the imei number is 111111111111119, which is not a valid number, and there is not a sticker with it in the battery compartment. Is there any possibility to make this a working phone?
