MPx turns itself off

Now my MPx just turns it's off. At first the vibrate was going out but it came back. Nown the vibrate started working again and now it shuts itself off. This is really pissing me off. It seems like as soon as I put it back in the holster on my hip it shuts off. Sometimes it shuts off when I have it in my hand using it and most often when I close the flap. At times I just want to throw this thing against the wall.
Is this happening to anyone else?
Does anyone know of a new type/style like the MPx that's currently on the market(US market perfered)? I'm not buying anymore OLD electronics(nothing several years old, the oldest I'll buy is 2 years old)!

I've got one that does that too.

I thought it might be the battery connection... but I've seen it do that sitting on the desk, with no movement at all... regardless of what battery I put in it.

for newer stuff I think there was something called the M.A.G.I.C. at some point. I'm not sure what happened to it but a new htc product looks a bit like it. take a look at http://www.htcphonestore.com/product...mMDL=QTEK_9000 - also some of the other devices on that page may suit you. there is only one other phone that exists with the dual hinge and qwerty keyboard, but its not a smartphone (the samsung d307)
