I just bought myself a new PPC6700 and my girlfriend a moto Q. I just flashed my 6700 to windows mobile 6. What would you guys suggest doing to my girlfriends phone? Can you get WM6? What other cool stuff can be done?

Sorry to say WM6 is not available for the Q. However, there is a lot of great software for it. Checkout the sites software store for the Q.

There have three updates to the Q since it was released about a year and half ago. However, since you just purchased your wife's phone, it would have the latest update. There are no other ROM files available for it, though with the release of the Q9M, WM6 might become available in the future.

The current Q9m has not been out long enough for motivated users to cook up a ROM. Maybe we will see one in the near future but that remains to be seen. I would suggest if WM6 is a real need or desire then trade out for the Q9m.

I wish my 6800 was WM5. WM6 is a pig on 6800. I don't care about cool features that suck up memory and make the unit unstable. A lot of 3rd party software doesn't seem to be keeping up either.
