6700 BT Ran fine for me. 6800 runs fine too except Voice Command can't do confirmations so you have to shut it off. 6800 has some serious issues with low memory.

Despite those issues I still have a new 6800 and Q on the way.

I wasn't too impressed with Razor V3xx (GSM) BT or it's built in Voice command it was horrible. Ear piece was very good (but only if AT&T could manage a clear signal for more than 2 minutes).

I'm assuming Q has Microsoft Voice command.

Yep. The Q has VC built in so you don't have to pay for Sprint's. It's good but sometimes can be hit-or-miss. Sprint's voice command works better but is less convenient to set up over the web for all of your contacts.

Your iPhone review is the first I've seen to mention the GSM interference. GSM's bursty transmission, especially when it can't find service and starts bleating like a lost sheep, has always been a problem. It's how convicted spy/FBI officer Robert Hansen knew the feds were tracking him. Remember that the next time you hear strange buzzing at regular intervals from your car radio......

The Q's (well Sprint, anyhow) built-in Voice Recognition software is not Microsoft Voice Command. It's VoiceSignal and my experience with it has been excellent. It's all automatic (no training) and has many configurable options. For me, it just flat works--even with Moto H9 and S9 headsets. One if its best features is that when you ask it to dial a contact, a list of the contacts it reognized comes up and you can quickly scroll to and select the one you really wanted if it wasn't recognized first. I have a "Bryn", "Taryn", "Cary", and "Gary" in my family and NO VC software can get these right consistently. VoiceSignal's approach to situations like this is brilliant.

You are correct. I didn't realize the Q app was VoiceSignal and not Microsoft's app.

It is a pretty nice app, and the integration with the address book and ability to launch any app on the phone is cool, too. I don't have the same luck with it distinguishing entries as you do but it's still worth it. And I do like that if it gets it wrong it presents a list I can scroll thru of whatever is close.

One other thing I noticed, the 6800 is shipping with a Java interpreter, although I couldn't get anything to work on it. Anybody know who's Java stack this is and can we hack it to run on the Q?

Excellent question which deserves its own thread here, in the 6800 forum, and in the Titan forum at ppcgeeks.com.
