I just bought a new 2gb card and wanted to sync my phone to add some files to it. Well activesync will not connect now, and I uninstalled it and reinstalled it on my comp and it still wont work??? what the crap, how can I fix this? It doesnt make any sense really it worked fine before.

any suggestions or personal experiences would be sick.

This happens to me every other day. All I do is remove the phone from the cradle ( which I bought separately ) turn it off, then turn it back on and reconnect. I hope this works for you. Incidentally, for installing files, I find dragging and dropping much more convenient than syncing: have you ever tried that?

I'm only five days into the Q and Active Sync has been giving me a headache all afternoon. For some reason it keeps hanging up trying to sync Favorites. When I tried to disable the sync Favorite setting it hangs up on "Opening Settings". Good Lord

Do you use any sort of firewall software on your computer? Activesync 4.x uses TCP/IP to communicate over USB, I'm pretty sure, which suddenly involves a whole new world of issues. If you are able to connect at all, then firewall may not be the problem, however I would check just to be sure.
